We have some exciting updates to share with the Ethereum community. Following the successful completion of the Ethereum Shapella upgrade, you will be able to begin the ETH unstaking process on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 8 p.m. PDT / 11 p.m. EDT.
Today’s announcement represents one of the most highly anticipated chapters for ETH staking participants. Once ETH unstaking goes live on May 10, all Binance.US customers will be able to initiate an unstaking request. Requests will be processed directly by the Ethereum protocol and placed into a queue based on a first-come, first-served basis. The time taken to process your unstaking request may vary depending on the number of staking participants and demand for unstaking at any given time.
As always, Binance.US charges zero transaction fees when you buy ETH or trade on select pairs, an offer you won’t find on any other major U.S. crypto platform.
